Jane Herkenhoff is a multiartist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, whose work focuses on storytelling through symbolism and themes like women´s liberation and the magic of ordinary life moments. After spending a few years living in Barcelona and Oporto, she´s now back living in her hometown. Jane´s graduated from UFRJ (Brazil) in 2010 with a BFA in Visual Arts and later on in 2015 she received her master´s degree in Digital Illustration and Animation from ESAD (Portugal). She has been working ever since as an indie illustrator and over the past few years she´s been dedicating her work to filmmaking as well, as video editor, motion designer, director and assistant camera.

Jane Herkenhoff é uma multiartista carioca, cujo trabalho se caracteriza pela narrativa através de simbolismo e engloba temas como a libertação feminina e a magia dos momentos cotidianos. Após morar por um período em Barcelona e no Porto (PT), decidiu voltar à sua cidade natal. Graduou-se em Artes Visuais pela UFRJ em 2010 e em 2015 na pós-graduação em Ilustração e Animação Digital pela ESAD (Portugal). Trabalha desde então com ilustração independente e nos últimos anos tem se dedicado também ao audiovisual, como editora, motion designer, diretora e assistente de câmera.
